>MARIPOSAS

I participated for a year in Mariposa-AUGE (2017-2016), a group of performative public interventions where we "organized to warn, raise awareness, provoke, and denounce the prostitution system. We trust in the power of group union as a tool for human empowerment, in the body as a sign, and in the potency of our desires in action. For us, the butterfly as a symbol represents transformation, empowerment, freedom, and liberation."

>ALTAR MUJERES

A global project/archive on gender inequality.

"Altar Women 21st Century" is a manifestation of women and movements of struggle from all eras and cultures, voices of textual and visual narratives that question. A large audiovisual and interactive installation that says ENOUGH to all discrimination and gender violence.

"Altar Women 21st Century" is made up of an interdisciplinary team of artists dedicated to research, experimentation, and production from Argentina, Africa, Ecuador, and Uruguay. The proposal also calls for open, active, and global participation and seeks to enrich its archive with stories from any user interested in collaborating through the diverse forms of presence and communication inherent in contemporary culture.

The idea that motivates this practice is to emphasize unanswered questions, the decisions made and continue to be made for having been born a woman, to give voice to those who have been fighting for change and to be heard. The manifestation of women is composed of a collective archive of emotions, experiences, and images taken to diverse contexts; physical and virtual. A mirror of the problems of contemporary culture in terms of gender that visualizes harmful practices such as child marriage, trafficking of women, domestic violence, female genital mutilation, femicide, racism, inequality of employment opportunities, among other expressions of VIOLENCE.

Gender equality is not only a fundamental human right but also the necessary basis for achieving a balanced world and a harmonious society.

The Transcendent Arcana

The Transcendent Arcana: A tarot deck inspired by the feminist movement, challenging gender stereotypes, and incorporating all genders. It reimagines the traditional Major Arcana, pairing each card with a masculine energy represented by the elements: fire, air, earth, and water.

This tarot is a tool for self-discovery, blending astrology and Carl Jung's symbolism.

SÍNTESIS CONCEPTUAL:
"Indifferences Traversed" is an interactive robotic installation composed of three robotic devices that move on a circuit placed on the floor and that runs through the entire exhibition space. They are motionless, still, and each is activated through its sensors in the presence of a person detecting their feet, for which they will begin their journey being accompanied in their sinuous path. On the way to transit, they will encounter a station formed by five light projectors with images in situations of violence against women (Gender), these slides - 5 frames - will tell a story sequenced by each artist of the CCEBA Marathon Production Laboratory. A second station of five projectors will represent stories in sequence of situations of forced labor, and the third will address images in situations of homelessness on the street. The public is a participant, walks alongside and puts the work into operation by accompanying the robotic device, if the person stops, the device also stops, this human interaction causes the machine when passing in front of each projector to close the electronic circuit located on the floor, turning on and firing the projection of each frame allowing each image to be visualized on the wall, the person manages the time, their travel time, their time of understanding or indifference. Each day the frames will be removed from their projectors in the three spaces (Gender / Forced labor / Homelessness), and will be replaced by other stories, that resulting in 15 slides will be placed and exhibited aligned in small luminous boxes on a wall, which will increase as time goes by.

  • GALLERY DAY

.The second edition of Gallery Day will feature 35 galleries opening their doors to the public on Saturday from 12 noon to 4 pm, expanding the cultural scene of Palermo and Villa Crespo. Over 35 galleries and cultural spaces in Palermo and Villa Crespo will open their doors tomorrow, between 12 and 4 pm, to exhibit works by established and emerging artists. This year's second edition of Gallery Day proposes a circuit that extends between Santa Fe and Corrientes avenues and Ravignani and Pringles streets. It's an ideal opportunity to explore, map in hand, the new artistic hub of Buenos Aires where the galleries Ruth Benzacar, Nora Fisch, Gachi Pietro and Slyzmud, among others, have recently opened their doors. Organized by Arte al Día, which has been running the traditional Gallery Nights in the circuits of Barrio Norte, Retiro and Palermo since 2001, Gallery Day will also offer, as in the nighttime tours, a free minibus service for the public to travel from one point to another. The public can enjoy free concerts and performances and special discounts at some local restaurants. To take advantage of these benefits, visitors must pick up an identification sticker at participating galleries. 2017 - Buenos Aires, Argentina

Abstrac

We Are Red" is a robotic interactive installation, composed of three devices that move in the exhibition space in response to the viewer. Each robot has a light projection mechanism that reflects different red textures on the floor, walls, and ceiling. The three objects have ultrasonic sensors that detect movement and recognize the viewer's presence; the programming code they possess will indicate the action of their movements, varying their figure and their environment in variants and intermittencies of red light. A sound piece is articulated in the space-time of the installation. We chose the color red to provoke and identify different sensations, in this way the first device represents passion with an intermittent light as if it were the beat of a heart; the second object that we call vitality has energetic and constant movements that project an intense light; the texture projected by the third robot symbolizes violence with repetitive and constant movements of spinning on itself. Red, as an element of proximity and collective identification, evokes an infinity of sensory stimuli and interpretations. The intention is to materially reveal the energy of red in the subjectivity of the individual and in the social group.

CERAMIC

My ceramic practice, based at Casa Ra in Buenos Aires, Argentina, culminated in a 2019 exhibition at the Hannac Art Residency in Barcelona, Spain. The works explored the juxtaposition of the organic, handmade qualities of clay with the precision and complexity of robotic processes.
